Children’s Scholarship Fund-Oregon

Every child deserves the chance to succeed.

The right school can change a child’s future. Every family should have the opportunity to choose the learning environment where their child can thrive.

A child’s potential should never be limited by family income or a ZIP code.

Every day, parents make important decisions about their children’s future. But when the school that best meets their child’s needs is financially out of reach, too many families are left without meaningful options.

Children’s Scholarship Fund-Oregon helps change that.

A program of Cascade Policy Institute, CSF-Oregon is part of the national Children’s Scholarship Fund network of scholarship-granting organizations. Together, CSF and its partner programs empower lower-income families with the opportunity to choose the K-8 school that best meets their child’s needs, regardless of their ability to pay or where they live.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

What we do

CSF-Oregon expands educational opportunity for lower-income families across Oregon.

Through need-based, partial tuition scholarships, eligible families can access tuition-based K-8 schools that may otherwise be beyond their financial reach, giving parents greater freedom to choose the educational environment where their children can succeed.

The program is built on a simple belief: Parents know their children best, and every family deserves meaningful educational options, regardless of income.

Changing lives through opportunity

The impact of a scholarship reaches far beyond the classroom.

It can open doors to new opportunities, restore confidence, strengthen families, and give children the chance to learn in an environment where they are encouraged to succeed.

For more than 25 years, Cascade Policy Institute has helped Oregon families access these opportunities through CSF-Oregon. Across the country, the Children’s Scholarship Fund network has awarded scholarships to nearly 225,000 lower-income students, helping change lives through the power of educational choice.

One scholarship can help change the course of a child’s future.
